And to add to Kori’s offering, here is the recipe I always use for cocoa mix.
Miss Daisy’s Hot Cocoa Mix
(from Miss Daisy Cooks Light by Daisy King)
3/4 cup unsweetened cocoa
1/4 teaspoon salt
1 quart instant nonfat dry milk
1 1/2 cup sugar (or sugar substitute – see package for equivalent quantity)
Mix all ingredients. Store in airtight container. To serve, use 2 tablespoons (or more to taste) per 6 oz. of boiling water. Add marshmallows, or peppermint stick, or cinnamon stick. Yields 32 servings of 6 oz. each. (Recipe easily doubles.)
