This is the party that started me on the path to my second job in children’s party planning. Last year, for Meg and Grace’s sixth birthday, they asked for a fairy party. I just couldn’t go the Disney route but discovered instead Cicely Mary Barker’s classic fairy illustrations and the girls were just as happy to go in a more original direction. I was so excited to find this darling sip and see from Stefani of LaBelle Party Planning in my inbox! Stefani created this event to introduce the precious little Addison. The amazingly cute little dress, shoes and matching hat were all handmade by SewFAB.

This brother/sister birthday bash comes to you from Keisha of Cupcake Wishes & Birthday Dreams. Keisha created this party for her children, whose birthdays are close together. I thought you might enjoy taking a peek behind the scenes today. On Sunday, we had our Flower Fairy Party photo shoot, so last week, I had lots of to-dos.

Party week always starts for me with a touch of panic. While the Flower Fairy Party is my main focus, I’m also planning something for July 4th and another party that’s top secret for now. And that’s typically how it is. Multiple parties floating around my head at one time. So, I have to start making notes. Then I have to try to read my handwriting. So I give up and type it up. And at some point, I actually have to accomplish today’s to-dos.
