Our lovely sponsor Donna of Swish Printables created this Elf on the Shelf-inspired Christmas Party, and today I get to share it with you! Of course, Donna designed printables for the party — and for after. Her collection includes little communiques from the Elf himself to help monitor your kids’ pre-holiday behavior — love that!
You never know where you’ll find inspiration. Noelle Juday found inspiration for this Christmas party in a roll of wrapping paper! Noelle is a budding party planner in Columbus, OH. She says, “In my little circle of friends and family, I’m the “go to” party/craft girl. I am truly passionate about celebrating life, one event at time.”
Do you make gingerbread houses with your kids? We do one or two each year, and typically more candy winds up eaten than on our houses. The most fun is when the girls make a large house with their older cousins. You can be 30 or 26 or 7 and love decorating a gingerbread house.
Here are some printables to dress up your gingerbread house decorating party.

Here is a quick and easy way to make a no-sew bunting for any occasion. I used red and green Duct Tape and red twine for Christmas bunting, but there are so many colors of Duct available now that the sky’s the limit. Rainbow colors, football team colors, Halloween — you name it. All I had to buy was my Duct Tape, so this project cost less than $8.
We’ve started decorating for Christmas at our house, and that’s put me in the mood for classic Christmas TV specials. I thought surely someone had created a Grinch party and went searching. Kate Petronis of And Everything Sweet did not let me down and I’m thrilled that she graciously agreed to let me feature her dessert table.
Here is a totally new take on an advent calendar: have your Elf on the Shelf deliver it daily! Model A Designs came up with this concept and the free printables.
