Inspired by the leprechaun traps on Pinterest, I thought we might take a friendlier approach and just invite some leprechauns to come live with us! If they did, just think of all the green milk we could drink.

At our St. Patrick’s Day party, the children converted Kleenex boxes to leprechaun houses. This is super easy, and the the kids all enjoyed it. My girls are checking their houses daily for little green men.

Just in the nick of time, here are a few more St. Patrick’s Day printables for your party.

There are so many great St. Patrick’s Day food ideas on Pinterest right now, I wanted to share some of my favorites with you. We had our party on Sunday, and I had plans to make a layer cake and use green food coloring on the homemade whipped cream layers. I totally forgot to add the food coloring and realized it as soon as my head hit the pillow the night I finished making the cake! Oh well — it tasted just as good. Hope these provide you some yummy inspiration!

I’ve decided to have our St. Patrick’s Day party in a room where the sideboard has six framed illustrations hanging above it. Since I didn’t want to take those all down, and needed an easy, quick and cheap way to create a backdrop, I decided to “recover” the frames. You could do this for any holiday.
