Happy Thanksgiving! We had a wonderful day today, starting with the Macy’s Thanksgiving Day Parade and Paula Deen’s French Toast Casserole. I surprised the girls with necklaces from Daizy Bugz. They were pretty cute, sitting at their little table in their PJs, wearing their necklaces.
Leftover Halloween cupcake liners, anyone? Me too. I can’t bear to let them sit around til next year, so I decided to turn mine into turkey cupcake toppers. As usual, this is a quick, easy and cheap project — and one you can do with your kids.
Good grief, I think I love Charlie Brown and the gang as much now as I did when I was six or so.
Happy Friday! I’m seeing more and more Thanksgiving printables collections — so fun! These all have a neutral palette that I find really appealing in between all the bright colors of Halloween and Christmas.

We’ve been in full-on Halloween mode here on the blog, but I need to jump ahead a holiday. I’ve been gradually having my party plans professionally re-designed and so I’m excited to premier the new Charlie Brown Thanksgiving Party Plan! (See the original party post and all the photos here.)
This party plan now includes editable printables – whoo hoo! (And since we’re getting close to 2,000 Facebook fans — unbelievable! — we might have to have a sale…)
Saturday evening, the girls and I did a little experimenting in the kitchen. I had a recipe inspiration and it turned out really well. I took the cookies to a meeting at Collective CoOp on Sunday and I was pleased to find they were a hit. (People took home extras!) So yummy with a cup of coffee.
