We are just back from the beach, and I’m helping a client plan a mermaid party (see our Custom Party Plans here), so I’m all about sand and surf inspiration right now. I made these little shell art pieces for my daughters’ beach themed room makeover, but think they’d also be fun on a dessert table or as a party craft.

Lately, I’ve been so impressed with some of the plastic utensils available at Party City. I’m not usually a big fan of disposables, but the new designs have tons of style. These are heavy-duty and intended to be resused, but handwashing dozens of forks was not high on my to-do list.

When you buy an entire printable collection, it may include cupcake wrappers. These are the printables I cannot seem to master. My hand just isn’t steady enough to cut a smooth curve, so I’m never pleased with how the wrappers turn out and I tend not to use them.
